Job Overview

Responsibilities:

• Design and conduct laboratory analyses, including FTIR, DSC, TGA, EDX, and related methods.

• Plan and execute lab-scale polymer extrusion and injection molding activities in the technical workshop.

• Perform mechanical property evaluations on products, such as tensile and flexural testing.

• Troubleshoot polymer compounding processes and provide technical support for production.

• Assist in and lead product or process development projects.

• Provide technical support to customers, both locally and overseas.

Requirements:

• Possess a bachelor’s degree in Polymer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Applied Science, or other related fields.

• Candidates with prior experience in the polymer or plastics industry, particularly in research and development (R&D) or laboratory work, will be given preference.

• Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply, while candidates with relevant experience and knowledge are also welcome.

• Must demonstrate a willingness to learn and the ability to take on challenges in daily responsibilities.

• Proficiency in Japanese & Mandarin will be considered an added advantage.

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual targets are achieved.

• Drive business growth by expanding the company’s client base and strengthening existing relationships.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and cold calling.

Requirements (Qualifications, Skills & Experience):

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Chemistry, Science, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in the compounds, plastics, or semiconductor industries.

• Strategic and analytical thinker with the ability to interpret sales data and translate insights into actionable business strategies.

• Strong sense of responsibility, urgency, and commitment to meeting deadlines.

• Results-oriented and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, written and verbal.

• Strong presentation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Effective leadership, negotiation, and influencing skills.

• Proactive, responsible, and able to work collaboratively within a team.

• Possess own vehicle and willing to travel as required.

• Self-motivated, sales-driven, and equipped with strong interpersonal skills.

• Able to multitask effectively and manage responsibilities independently.
